By performing file correction services, Materialise N.V. warrants to use its best efforts and to provide "state of the art" services.
All other warranties, express or implied, including any warranties of satisfactory quality or fitness for any particular purpose, are specifically excluded and disclaimed. Materialise N.V. does not warrant that the software or the service will meet the customers' requirements neither does it accept any liability for the data submitted or for the resulting converted data. It is solely the customers' responsibility to determine the suitability of the data for its intended purpose.

Since the circumstances in which the services are ordered are under control of the customer, the latter recognises his responsibility for these circumstances. On these grounds the remedies of the customer are limited as follows:
The liability of Materialise N.V. for real and proven damages will, regardless of the gravity of the failure, except in case of fraud, be limited to the price of the services directly related to the reason of the claim.
Under no circumstances an indemnity can be grounded on indirect damages such as, but not limited to, loss of revenue, increase of expenses, disturbance of planning, loss of customers or goodwill, loss of benefits or expected savings or any other financial or commercial losses which are not a direct and immediate consequence of a shortcoming of Materialise N.V. in its obligations.

Customer agrees to take back-up copies of the files sent to Materialise N.V., in order to protect himself against accidental loss of data. Materialise N.V. cannot accept any responsibility for delays or interruptions in the services due to reasons beyond its control such as but not limited to interruptions in telephone services or Internet availability.

Customer agrees to control any corrected file, before using it. Should customer omit to perform such control or decide to nevertheless use a file without preliminary control, he frees Materialise N.V. from any liability for the consequences of the use of such file.

All services proposed, ordered and performed are subject to Belgian law. Parties accept the exclusive jurisdiction of the Belgian courts in case of litigation.

By ordering, the customer accepts explicitly the above terms and conditions. He agrees not to refer to any of the terms and conditions that might appear on documents sent to Materialise N.V.

Upon receipt of your STL or CAD file, the STLfix service will check if your file can be corrected or converted automatically. To provide this, please put Try Autofix option on the upload page.
If so, STLfix will repair the file FREE of charge. The free automatic conversion is only valid for STL fixing and CAD to STL conversion (with the exception of CATIA V4 to STL conversions).
